Last year I wouldn't have turned on the furnace yet. It's just a bit in the morning and maybe a bit after dinner when the house is cold.
Instead I lit the pilot and turned on the furnace. So nice this morning.

We're coming into summer here and it's going to be a scorcher. I have booked myself into a gym from 10am on most days (they have a daycare) so I don't have to put the airconditioning on at home until later. My motto is if someone else has to pay for the cold air I'm all for it. I think the kids and I might be hanging out at the shopping centres during the middle of summer (here it gets to 45degrees C = 120F). Everyone loves going to church on a Sunday because they have the aircon cranked up. (yeah our bishop loves the idea of keeping the flock happy).
